Brief upon this landscape,
we are undeniably powerful in our trespassing
we have ravaged mercilessly in our narcissism,
trade in platitudes, numbing nerves upon mass lies.
We dither our understanding.
We rise and fall as we watch others rise and fall
waves crescendo mute against a capitalist facade.
Ouroboros.
We need a David or maybe an Alexandria
to move within its core,
expose rusted cogs crushing us in their corruption.
We need
to reframe ourselves in deep time,
rebuild as we dismantle,
reconstruct and reformulate in sacrificial aesthetics
organic and Gaudi,
abject yet objectively just,
to ends, not our own…
