How to Log In and Out

 Users can access Leganto by selecting the Course Reserves - Leganto tab in their Canvas course.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Users can also directly log in to Leganto from the library home page,

After logging in, you will see a Welcome screen. After closing the Welcome screen, you will see the Lists page. Logout by selecting Logout button in the top right user menu.

How to Navigate Leganto Course Reserves

Navigation

Leganto always displays a header bar and a main, central pane. The header bar includes a user menu, a language menu, and useful links on the right.

The hamburger icon  includes the following links:

  • Lists — Leganto's home page, which displays the list of reading lists that a) you are owner or collaborator on and/or b) that you are watching. You can sort or filter the reading lists using the filters at the top of the page. See Managing Lists.
  • Collection — Leganto's citation manager. You can sort or filter the items using the filters at the top of the page. See My Collection.
  • Find Lists — Search for other reading lists that you may want to view and/or watch. Suggested lists may appear at the bottom of this page.

How to Create a Reading List

Creating a Reading List

Enter a title and an optional description and select Create. You can select a template to pre-format the list with sections. Otherwise, select Default to continue without pre-formatting any sections.

To associate the list with a course, select Manage course association.

Enter a course to associate with the list and select Associate & Close. See Associating a Reading List.

You can now start adding sections and resources to the list. See Requesting Reserves.
