OCAD U Library 2019 Winter: Library News

New Library Staff

The Dorothy H. Hoover Library is pleased to welcome two new employees!

Lillian Chan, Library Technician, Circulation & Access Services
Lillian holds a BFA from OCAD University, a Library & Information Technician Diploma from Seneca College, a Commercial Web Development Certificate from George Brown and additional Computing & Information Systems training from Athabasca University. Lillian began her library career as a Magazines Monitor at OCAD U Library and went on to work at Seneca College Library, the Toronto Public Library, and George Brown College Library Learning Commons. Her coding and graphic design skills have allowed her to explore innovative instructional and wayfinding support for library researchers in each of her work placements.


Tamara Noor, Coordinator, E-Reserves & Learning Zone
Tamara has a Bachelor of Arts from Huron University College, a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University, and a Data Analyst Certificate, with additional coursework and training in data analysis using Excel, as well as Mental Health First Aid. Tamara has a wide range of library-related experiences including working as an ESL Conversation Mentor at the London Public Library, a Library Assistant at Huron University College Library, a Research Assistant for a London City Councilor and a Prospect Research Officer for Western University. Tamara is currently the Features Section Editor for Partnership: The Canadian Journal of Library & Information Practice & Research.
